Coach Johnson, as a quad city native, Coach Johnson takes pride in investing in the village. Coach Johnson graduated from Rock Islnad High School. She holds the all time record for bloacked shots in a single season (121) and an individual game (18). Coach Johnson continued her basketball career at Loras College and planned to join the Itlian league as a precursor to the WNBA. However, a groin injury cut those aspirations short. Since then, Coach Johnson had been giving back through sports and education. She's a firm believer in the idea that it takes a villiage to raise a child. She has been part of the Rock Island School district for over 20 years as a coach and teacher. She has coached basketball and track, founded The Boy's Mentoring Program and provided individual instruction to students with special needs. Coach Johnson endeavors to play her part in the village by teaching, coaching and giving back.

Coach Jett is a graduate of Rock Island High School. She played point guard for the Rock Island Rocks and was inducted in the Hall of Fame for track. Coach Jett has also been inducted in the Hall of Fame for the basketball and track for Augustana College. After completing college, Coach Jett began teaching and coaching for the Rock Island School District. It wasn't long before her second passion took her to  California. While in California, Coach Jett remained true to her desire to coach. Jett has won many city youth basketball tournaments and her return to the Quad Citites has allowed her to entertain all of her joys. In 2015 Coach Jett became the head girls varsity basketball coach at Central High School.
